Sara's story
Hi, my name is Sara, and I’m a professional disability support worker with about a year's worth of experience. I have experience in working with disability support. I have worked with clients from all divserse backgrounds and with a range of varying disabilities. I love helping clients live their most independent lives, and I achieve this through patience and compassion. I have a passion for helping clients reach their goals in the gym or everyday life. I tailor my support services to clients and their specific requirements. I am a very energetic, outgoing person who loves to have a chat. I am very fitness orientated and love getting outdoors, giving things a go and making the most out of my day.
When I’m not working, you can find me in the gym or on a football (soccer) pitch. I take the time to get to know my clients to ensure I can assist them in reaching their goals. I am working towards becoming a qualified personal trainer and thoroughly enjoying the course. I love cooking healthy meals, and I’m a big believer in meal prep. I have great communication and time management skills and can easily adapt to situations and think on my feet. I am very much a dog lover and have a beautiful border collie at home who loves it when I take him on walks. I always treat my clients with respect and will assist them through mentoring to build independence. I will always give my clients the opportunity of choice and assist them in making better decisions to help them reach their goals and improve their lives.
