FITCare supports people with disability — our website failing accessibility would be a brand failure, not just a technical one. This site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and here's what that means in practice.
Keyboard first
Every control — menus, forms, the review carousel, filters — works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator throughout.
Readable by design
Minimum 17px body text, strong contrast (4.5:1 or better), plain English aimed at reading grade 7 on participant pages, and no information conveyed by colour alone.
Works without extras
Every page is readable with JavaScript off; animation respects your reduced-motion setting; all images carry descriptive alt text.
Forms that help
Every field is labelled, errors are explained in words next to the field, and sensitive questions simply aren't asked online.
Structure you can navigate
Proper landmarks, heading order and a skip-to-content link on every page for screen reader and switch users.
Captions on video
All produced video ships with captions.
