Support Worker

I was born in the UK but grew up in New Zealand. I have lived in Australia for sometime now and absolutely love it here. I am a very energetic social person who loves to get out and give anything a try! I currently have my certificate 3 in Disability and am always looking at learning new skills to improve the support I provide. I have been working in this industry for 6 years now and never want to leave it! I have experience in many different support rolls throughout the industry. Some including: Supported Independent Living, community access, day service, (facilitating daily activities), mental health support and complex behaviour support. I am a very determined, energetic support worker in which I believe really helps in this industry. I have great communication and people skills and I love providing active support, such as getting out in the community engaging in recreational activities. Whether that is participating in sport, walking/running around on a beach or going to a park to play some board games, I am enthusiastic with any activities we do throughout the day.
