Valentine (Val)

Valentine (Val) is studying Criminology and Justice at the University of the Sunshine Coast and speaks French and English. Easy-going and social, Val loves the water — especially wing foiling and looking for seashells at the beach — as well as reading, music, history and art. A good day might include a vinyl store or bookstore, coffee, a movie, a walk, or just a chat. With experience supporting people with different needs, Val enjoys getting to know each person as an individual and believes support works best when someone feels comfortable, listened to, and able to choose what they want to do. That might mean getting out and being active, or a quieter day hanging out. The focus is on finding things to enjoy together and keeping support relaxed and fun.
